REJUVENATING HOME RENOVATION - CO ARMAGH
In this project the family had grown tired of the outdated interior. The brief was to create a modern contemporary family home. A home suitable for the changing needs of each of the family members. We transformed the main kitchen, living and dining space. What was a dark overcrowded space became a bright, neutral, functional area. We installed a luxurious contemporary kitchen. This combines gloss doors on the perimeter along with a stone effect door on the Island. The worktop is a sharp white Corian work surface. Adjacent an italian design glass topped dining table. The dining chairs and island bar stools are in matching fabrics.
Large gloss floor tiles run from the front door into the kitchen, living and dining. This ensures easy maintenance. We used soft carpets in the lounge and sitting room to add texture and warmth. The old lounge had become an unused space. We installed a dramatic gas fireplace as the focal point. It a great room for entertaining or relaxing now. Continuity of colours and textures run throughout this home. Use of accents of colours in varying degrees to create interest and reflect the different personalities. We designed the kids’ bedrooms to meet their evolving needs. Creating exciting spaces for them to play, study or chill out. This project had quite an intense schedule and was exciting project to deliver. The enjoyment the family had when entering their new interior made it all worthwhile.
