NORTH COAST HAMPTON RENOVATION
This project was a delight to work on as the client had a clear vision of what they wanted to create. This translated to a specific brief, Hampton style living. Hampton style, like many others, is open to interpretation. We included classic elements of neutral tones with accents of blue/navy colours. Enhanced by adding some contemporary touches for a modern family.
Central to the open plan area is the stunning hand-crafted kitchen. The perimeter units painted in off white with a dramatic navy island. A crisp white worktop and the warmth of a limed oak breakfast bar. I love the hidden pantry in this kitchen, which is so practical and stylish. Large cosy neutral sofas add texture and comfort to the sitting area. The rug and cushions bringing in added layers of colour. Including a striking velvet swivel chair taking full advantage of the beautiful view. Plain neutral linen curtains frame the view and soften the scheme.
We used the same colour palette throughout the interior to varying degrees. The lounge area was quite neutral with small accents of navy in the cushions and accessories. The family room featured navy walls for a cosy feel and neutral sofas and carpet. We add texture and colour to the neutral tones in the bedrooms with curtains and cushions.
The result is a beautiful interior which is timeless, stylish and cosy to live in, ideal for a family to enjoy.
